This “Things Talent Practitioners Think About” quarterly round table will delve into key information to know and put you deeper into the science and foundational research that drives our industry — strengthening the methodology and relevance of all you do.
Join our club. This talent practitioner’s round table is the place where we can discuss essential information in our field; foundational studies, science-driven talent solutions, best practices and straightforward application you can take back to your job. Take control of your professional brand, especially if you didn’t study HR or Talent Management in school, or your path to HR hasn’t been a straight line.
Create a forum to discuss foundational research and seminal studies that drive our field — as well as ‘hot topics’ in our professional space
Discuss research-based best practices in a variety of applications: Competency Models/KSAs, 360 Feedback and Coaching, Selection and Interviewing and High Potential Management
Each Round table will:
Define and explore a specific talent discussion area, determine the pressure we as practitioners are feeling, and collaborate on what is being asked of us in the area of practice
Introduce one to two seminal research-based articles (important to know) that has greatly impacted our topic area as well as key people/thought leaders to know or follow within the literature
Discuss best practices and application ideas
Create a Q and A Round table to discuss and challenge our approaches and mindsets around talent
Elevated expertise as a knowledgeable talent practitioner
Foundational research-based know-how and application
A common language of talent
